Instore

How To Find An Instore Plug:

(Footlocker, Champs, Nike Outlets, Etc)

Introduction: This guide will basically help you find a instore plug that I have used in the past that has helped me get a worker/manager to let me know what shipments/sizes/leftover pairs/what stores has leftover pairs/even sometimes discounts. I personally a few people, some from the outlets, footlocker, champs, etc. This isn't a 100% success rate some already have people that they DM and message, and some don't really care that much. So if you fail on the first one don't give up.

First Interaction: When you go instore, you want to look around for shoes and look around for employees try to locate the manager or anyone you think you could approach easily. They usually ask you if you need anything so look around for shoes and ask them if they could get you a size for a certain shoe. I usually just go in pick out like a random shoe and ask them to try it on.

Getting To Know The Worker: Now this is where you can't get shy and you have to be confident. Ask them questions such as if they're into sneakers themself or what their favorite shoe is. Basically start conversation with them.

Introduce Yourself: Once you have a conversation going you want to make them feel comfortable so start telling them about yourself saying how you buy a bunch of a ton of pairs at a time. Explain to them what you do and if they know stuff about sneakers tell them about recent shoes you have purchased. Tell them if they need any upcoming shoes you can maybe pull some strings and get them pairs.

Commission: Most stores you go to probably have a commission program for the employees. For footsites all of them have a 1% commission on everything they sell. So if a customer spends $1000 they get $10 added to there paycheck. $1000 is pretty easy when buying a bunch of pairs of shoes. Most sneaker stores have a commission program for the employees but if they don't it's fine. Another thing about footsites is that, they compete with other stores in the state. So the store with the most sales at the end of the year gets prizes.

Going In For The Kill: Once you have introduced yourself, ask them if they have a commission program for the employees, if you are at a footsites almost 100% of the time they will say yes, I don't really know why they would say no. Tell them that you buy a lot of pairs at a time and tell them that you can help them get commission for the shoes. Another thing is ask them if they compete with other stores and tell them that you can help them get their sales up. Now once he is interested tell him that you can help him make money and ask him for his phone number to message him when shipments come in. They will probably say yes, if they don't it's fine move on to the next person another time or the next store.

A Different Approach: There is another way you can also get them to plug it up for you. When you go to the outlets or a foot store, buy a bunch of pairs, even if they're bricks or air force 1s. Don't worry they have free returns just get the receipt and return somewhere else. Go up to register or wait till the manager is up there and when he is ringing up the pairs you can ask him about commission or tell him how you buy a bunch of pairs at a time. When he is done ringing up the pairs, if they accept tips give him a little extra and ask him if you could get his number or if you can give him your number, and for him to shoot you a text when shipments come in.

Plug Secured, Now What? Once you have a store plug, and you guys are messaging each other. Tell him what shoes you want him to dm you about, mids, bricks, certain sizes, upcoming releases, etc. My plug personally sends me a picture of all the sizes, pictures of stores that have that certain shoe around the area. For example the smoke greys, ask him what stores have smoke greys left and ask if there store is doing left overs anytime soon. When pairs get checked out at footsites the pair gets automatically taken out of stock, so all the current stock that is left is actually what they have in inventory in the back. Also ask about any discounts that are going on and if they have certain programs/email rewards you can signup for to get discounts on shoes/items.
